I am no fan of dutton, but I just can't see the trainwreck you guys are claiming happened here.
Yeah he went around in circles a bit trying to say a broken promise is bad but he supports the new S3TC.
IMO the worst part was the interviewers continued attemped gotcha style questions. Over and over trying to get him to say what she wanted. Even the final question about a tax summit showed a lack of basic research, Dutton had made that point a day earlier and she put it to him like a test
The whole thing didnt make dutton any more appealing, but didnt do him any damage IMO
