Well, I get this feeling that some government officials are just the narrow minded activists that make claims and statements without offering a reasonable argument or alternative. We desperately need gas to successfully transition out of burning coal to produce power and home heating. The problem with having wind farms and solar farms atm is, when they are producing max power, the current grids can’t take the load for them to be 100% efficient. This means we need to run existing power generators for a lot longer.(using coal) Gas is the answer.
