Most institutional investors have minimum market cap sizes, they simply can’t deploy capital in the spec end. Some can only pile in when it hits an index i.e. 200/300 - they’re limited by their own compliance rules. Some smaller ones like Thematica can play down this end. However I suspect Galan’s general lack of liquidity held them back regardless of market cap size, it has always been too thinly traded.
