That afraid is debatable especially when the Aussie dollar has so much strength against all major currencies.
I think thats the main reason why profitabilty suffered LFY it eroded our competitiveness compared to when the dollar was weak the year before.
To get profit margins back to 2 years ago, prices we charge will have to go up, hence the lack of major contract awards during the last 6 months.
There is still plenty competition out there.
What NMS needs is a better track record regarding job completion on budget which is why we have had a reshuffle of management positions....which means more accountability.
Was never going to be easy keeping motivation up from the previous owners of the companies we took over.
Thats why NMS is being looked at by private equity...we got lazy.
