    what is a bloody wonder is if any Sudanese kids who grew up in the electorate that spawned racist Pauline Hanson come out without any issues after being surrounded by a community which agrees with Hanson so much that they voted her in

    yes, parents have the role to raise children - but, parents are in an environment ------ the environment that Hanson was in - strong enough in right wing racist beliefs - is enough to overpower the best of parenting in some cases
    the community is complicit
    frankly I've no idea how a parent can raise a kid without issues in such a rabid racist environment - you're up against it every time you go out the door
