I don’t attest to being an experienced long-term investor like JD, SP, GB etc here on HC but what I have learnt on my PEP-11 journey is not to always lean on what you learn in the media.

The communication around PEP-11 for a project that’s of national importance has just been an absolute circus.

Now it’s been explained we have paid down rampers on HC because in the background groups are shorting the stock. All the while PEP-11 organisations have their lips sealed and hands tied by Government processes as we wait for an approval announcement, which could happen today or will happen very soon.

The sad part of all of this is scared shareholders will sell this morning over misinformation shared by scaremongers, downrampers, and teals/greens press.

is an environmental activist - no one declares that in the article. Of course he’s going to be biased!

The media on PEP-11 seems to be just now starting to move to the right path of unbiased reporting, eg. NBN News and 2GB.

Judging by my phone yesterday this is a hot topic. They’re trying to garner information, which I can only assume they’re trying to do unbiased reporting because they’re seeking information around approvals.

I won’t be selling a share because of fake news in fact I’ll probably buy if the price is right. Who knows if M King is going to approve PEP-11 today or tomorrow or the next day but I’d hate to be one of the sellers if this pans out…!
