I am at a loss here. Because there are different posters quoting different figures as it suit themselves, which can be quite misleading.

We have posters that are quoting in support of their calculations the price of copper from around AU$6,600 per tonne up to the price of copper at lately $8,500 per tonne. Hey there is nearly $2,000 dollars per tonne difference there. Who is right????

Then we have posters quoting the mining costs at $17.50 per tonne while others are quoting mining costs up to $24.50 per tonne.

Then again there is difference between the Administration costs, and possibly many other costs as well. To quote the Admin costs at $5mill. now, is a little guess, isn't it??? Especially when we would need more Accounting stuff at the time to keep proper accounting records/books. And we may need a full time CFO as well. IMHO Lisa Rowe is not employed on a full time basis.

And how about the tax calculation??? How can anyone be sure that the new proposed mining tax will not come in and stuff/mess-up all of your calculations???

Now, unless posters are intentionally trying to push their own barrow in the misleading of other posters, how can anyone put a definite full cost on the mining and the real price per copper now, while we are still years away????

I'd like to see anyone going to raise some funds with some of those figures quoted on these threads in front of them. IMHO, they will be laughed out of the Bank, lol.

Get real, lol. Once we start mining we will know what real costs are, and what the net profits will be. A lot of water will be gone under the bridge by that time.
Don't put the cart in front of the horse, because it will not get you anywhere. You have to put the horse in front of the cart to get it to pull it forward.

But, who am I to say things like this. I am only a bean counter who only knows numbers crunching, while we have Geos that knows how to crunch minerals.

I can make you a Profit and Loss that can make you look like there is no tomorrow, and paint you the biggest rosey picture in the wholewide World. But is anyone going to believe it, when they will ask for supporting evidence???

One thing that I did like though, and that it took my immediate attention, is that according to the Announcement, the majority of the profits will still be paid out in the form of dividends to shareholders.

    Buddy
