I've always known that we were pretty bad as a species - and I did see the good in humans for quite a while as well
but, after seeing what we see on social media and now after the years of American wars, Aussie SAS behaviour, Russians in Ukraine and now Israel -
there's no hope for humans. We haven't progressed an inch from what I can see ---- we have evidence of violence in hominids prior to the latest model and miles of evidence in the last 200,000 years -
and history of a few thousand ------------------- and here we are ----------
atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs, killing children purposefully, raping in war, and leaders -------- Netanyahu, Trump, Boris, Morrison - etc etc
if that's our best after 200,000 years ------------- well, there's really no words for it
