This thread is quite amusing
Scott is not the "deal rain maker" rather the person that will do some DD vetting on prospects, develop and/or peer review term sheets, meet with interested parties and respond to requests for additional informations between both parties etc. PAR is a lean ship in terms of people that have the capacity to undertaken these critical aspect.
What is clear to me is that many don't work in finance and what is required to get a deal over the line.
