IMO to openly come out and say you have passed legislation to specifically block one particular exploration is dumb in the extreme and was the feedback the last bill received when it was advised that it not be pursued.

This latest article smacks of look at me look at me. Yet to be passed, tested constitutionally or appealed if necessary. Further all the proponents involved clearly state the Federal Government will make the final decision. The Federal Government has stated they will follow the law.

So it’s up to the federal government to come up with a valid reason for denial. Is the time it’s taking to address the permit because the government is looking for ways to deny it??? Maybe but Scomos lawyers couldn’t find any so if Albos can find one it’d have to be a doosy.

I believe it will be approved and I guess in time we’ll know who was right over the last few years. In the meantime we’ll continue to scrutinise every word in every article and express every opinion whilst we ride the PEP11 roller coaster
