logical person: Why would Putin withdraw his troops, if according to your theory he is the aggressor and he wants to grab more land? AFU needs to either drive the Russian army out (which they have failed to do in the past 2 years) OR start negotiating, before they lose more men and more territory, because obviously Russia is not backing down. Ukraine could have negotiated a peace deal back in March/April 2022, but decided to go along with US/UK sabotage instead. Since then they've lost more territory. Which will giver Russia more leverage in future negotiations (which will happen sooner or later).
