There is no change, you need to look at the data that you are using.
As a longer term investor, I also rely on weekly charts which help me assess the risks and potentials, by removing the local noise
Daily charts show short term assessments, but don't overly concern me.
If you day trade, that is a different story.
Making comments on your assumptions on what each investor's goals are is harder than whether you are using daily or weekly charts.
Focus on your goals!!!
