A good background read on the efforts big pharma go to to protect their market, eg using a wall of patents, which covered things such as the manufacturing processes of the drug and new formulatoins, to extend the life of their cash cows.
Interesting Merck are developing an injectable verion of Keytruda, instead of I/V. (Bisantrene's next formulation RC330 ??), as well as actively looking at combo's with other drugs (Hello bis & dox !)
