The only one misquoting is you, you’re attempting to spin what Putin actually said with other context he did not say and your opinion if what he meant.
The whole exchange shows Putin blames Poland for starting WW2 because, and try to follow here, the Poland was simultaneously “collaborating” but also “uncompromising” (Putins own words) with Hitler which is why Hitter invaded, this being Polands fault.
