Ford announced closure of their multi billion dollar EV plant recently due to poor sales(poor adoption)
BMW announced their hydrogen cell powered car plans (or rather leaked i guess)
Toyota models are all coming with Hybrid variants and they already have production hydrogen cell cars (their adoption looks like prius in its early days), so eventually all their models might end up with hydrogen power, by which most likely other japanese manufacturers might follow suit
