People have a connection with their history and ancestry, you cannot deny that. Otherwise, the British monarch will be abolished overnight.

To tell aboriginals to forgot about history and pretend it doesn't exist is like telling an English person to forget about the monarchy and pretend it doesn't exist.

Telling people to disconnect from their past is highly offensive and exacerbate division.
