I contacted C. Houssos's office in December and received a response from Georgina Beattie (Chief Executive Officer Mining, Exploration and Geoscience).
Here is an excerpt: "As you will be aware, the Federal Court overturned the previous decision to refuse PEP-11 in February 2023. As a result, the application has been remitted back to the Commonwealth and State Joint Authority to be redetermined. Any decision will follow a new and comprehensive assessment of the application by the Joint Authority. As the application is currently before the Joint Authority for assessment, I am unable to comment further on the matter at this time, including on specific factors that may affect decision-making timeframes."
