I take it as the first project after the initial industrial proof of concept for the CEC, out of a factory that cannot produce meaningful volumes. Forty (or even 80 with double shifts) MW of batteries per annum is nowhere near enough for commercial production. Why would you spend too much on it in the short term if you are seriously looking at funding for another larger more efficient site?

At least the invoice for payment on commencement is a useful sum, USD $4.18 million out of the $9.23 million.
