Hi Fluffy,
I don't think 'deceived' is fair..to be fair! :-)
I admit to being surprised by this mornings news given whats been said recently, however if the reason is to stabilise and balance the register then so be it.
I'm sure it wasn't a flippant decision, and was made after much consideration.
In fact, if indeed made on advice from Azure then it shows a level of corporate maturity, many here keep saying is non-existent with our board.
For the first time today I noticed genuine buying of the stock. How many here were expecting the sp to dip back to $2 or below on close...it ok to be honest!?
Instead we had someone actively, gradually soaking up the free float we've long become accustomed to being traded backwards and forwards in a downwards direction over the course of the day.
Lets not be too hasty with our calls for a few days yet, and see if this was maybe a watershed day post jorc.
As you know things can change very quickly in the corporate environment. How many days did it take for OZL to appear with 19% of SFR? Literally overnight I think.
A flexible open minded board, making decisions to preserve the Rocklands project for shareholders long term has my full support.
Why risk losing this to a 'faceless' nominee who doesn't give a proverbial about long term holders.
Cheers Charlie
