Sorry, personally I think you made that up, surely it’s reasonable to offer shifts.
I was only unlucky enough to have to work for a factory labour hire mob once. What a shit-show, they would tell me they had work for a week, half the time the shifts were reduced or pulled at short notice. They rang once at 4 in the morning and wanted me come straight in for 12 hours, expected me to say yes to every shift.
And then got cranky when I told them I found a full-time job. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
