You lost me when you cooked up the 1:10 ratio. Yes attack is more risky than defense, but 1:10 is a real stretch. Where did you get the numbers?

  Russians have lost nearly 700 vehicles around Avdiivka. Ukrainians have lost around 70. Points to the overall casualty ratio.

  
  

anyway on the bbc last night, there was a story about ukrainians avoiding the press gang boys, about overflowing cemeteries (ie huge ukrainian losses) ... ie the narrative did not sound very positive
