Another thing that gave me confidence to buy (other than thinking the sell-off was way overdone).
Namely, it is clear the news had leaked that SE3 wasn't flowing. This would've given new shorters (in addition to the long-term bots/scabs) time to borrow stock and prepare for this morning.
And as we saw when the arb traders closed their positions after the TPD was completed, shorted stock has to be repurchased, and with SE2 around the corner, to be safe, they'd want to repurchase sooner rather than later.
