I am surfprised to see so much negativity here as our experience has been the opposite. On our trips up North and back again (In Dec and January) , we have nothing but positive experience to share. We went to Wyong North (very busy,, food all perfectly prepared and friendly service) , Bulehdelah, same but with a great view and then Port Macquarie, same except the view was not as good. So overall, very positive experiences. Here are the pics to prove it. Note the chicken place next door was not doing much trade at all at the time.
