The backbone (link) between major cities already is fibre and capacity thereon is for the most part fine. The backbone linking us to the rest of the world is also fibre and is struggling at certain times of day - and the NBN will do NOTHING about it. This situation is destined to worsen - that's government (including ACCC) meddling in something they really don't understand.
