Ivor Ries is an O&G analyst who I have a lot of respect for - he is generally fairly level headed while still able to appreciate the blue sky potential of certain stocks that so many quant. brokers with their DCFs regularly miss. I especially like his end comment that he holds: '(sadly) a much smaller shareholder in the company than I used to be'.

Also agree with his valuation - " If the IPO goes through and we put in even the most insulting valuation for their Australian assets , Karoon shares are probably worth somewhere between $10 and $12 "
