It makes much more carbon sense to power your home with solar and batteries than it does to drive an electric car. I think the break even point for an EV atm is about 150000km or about 10 years. There are currently no public super chargers on the planet that are run purely on solar. But you could build your own at home for very reasonable price. Home batteries also seem to be more stable and less prone to thermal runaway like what we see with EV'S. Electric cars are simply a step backwards for motorists and the planet IMO.
