somalyay has only guaranteed supply and will not take part in a no confidence motion for the job of deputy speaker hasn't he? not sure what this means but I don't think it is much. It means that he can probably vote against any of Labor's legislation designed to wreck Australia such as that related to the ets, nbn and MRRT. So he hasn't really defected to the Labor camp. Perhaps tony has Labor where he wants them. They have plenty of room to stuff up but can't do anything anyway.
