Tony Abbott's new found respect for motherhood (via rediculous maternity leave) does not extend to female politicians.Probably only existed to win some votes at election time. Parliment has its conventions and only functions well when there is a degree of goodwill. It seems the glow of power might blind Abbott. If ministers are overseas serving the country,if ministers are giving birth and for many other reasons,particularly when the numbers are tight,the opposition should do the right thing.
