We just spent $20k plus legals, getting an Aboriginal Agreement done on our gold tenements.
Now there will be another $30-50k for an Aboriginal Heritage Study on this remote land which has been partly mined in the past.
Plus a 1.5% royalty. The royalty is standard.
The daily rate for the inspection is $800 per person per day plus all transport, accommodation, air fares, food, plus the added cost of an anthropologist at $1400/day + costs!
I wonder if royalty money is accounted for in the governments largess contributions of around $40b annually to the Aboriginal Industry? I doubt it.
So, as royalty payments go directly to the respective Aboriginal parties, I wonder how this money is accurately accounted for?
It appears that the Aborigines are far better off financially than the other 97.5%!!!
etc etc etc
