Always good to have robbo's pessimistic insights. Everyone needs both an angel and a devil on their shoulder to make the most informed decisions sometimes.

I also wonder how long it'll take for things to get into balance and am of the opinion the market might take quite a while....

Back in the last lithium bear market, the only thing that saved us from a 5 year oversupply was the fact that EV demand was a hockey-stick and it suddenly shot up one year at a much higher gradient than expected. The base demand back then was a lower figure so % wise the demand went gangbusters. Now... The demand growth is moreso linear than exponential, and unless there is a "shock" to the system I think we may have to wait quite some time whether that be 2 years or 5.

Yeah it could be less... Y'know Murphy's Law and what not... What can happen will happen. But mines shutting down and plans being held back takes longer than people think to have an effect especially when you're starting from an oversupply.

Nonetheless I'm in the "when" not "if" camp
