Hello Fellow Pen-ers and others.

I haven't posted very often in the past even though I read the posts from others with great interest and have been a member of HC for some time.

But as no-one else has mentioned anything about this on the forum so far I thought I would relate that a headline, or rather a footnote that was flashed onto the screen on the ABC's News 24 program yesterday said "The South African Government is at present considering nationalizing the mining industry in that country."

As yet I haven't been able to find any other reference to this article, -- but my immediate thoughts are to wonder,
[1] if this is true, and
[2] what might the impact of this could be on Peninsula's operation at Karoo.

May be some one else could be able to find out from sources that allude ATM if this story is true or not.
