It will be good to maintain relations with China into the future. Australia and China are for the first time, running Royal Australian Naval live exercises with China's Navy. This opportunity is not given to the USA and shows that Australia's ties with China are improving and are unfettered by political constraints. That's a good sign as the Chinese could be a potential JV partner for Australian ventures.
Aside from the Chinese however, many offers have been made to OGC to buy its Philipine tenements. OGC have retained them all at this stage and plans to develop them. The more capacity they get, the faster they will develop the mines and expand the revenue of OGC.
I really wonder how they will develop their additional mines. Five more DFS's and BFS's would really bring a lot of interest to OGC! OGC just made ASX200 status which opens the door to fund managers trading with OGC. Will OGC develop one at a time or start drilling exploration into five mines at once! I believe the latter will be the case!
Can you imagine the record resource upgrades that will come to OGC. And all the time the price of gold is increasing.
