I don't know anything about this sort of business tactic, but my gut feel is George wants to change "perception" of completely diluted basket case that VAL is by consolidating shares on issue and changing company name. Perhaps everyone calling him Confetti George has gotten under his skin?

So is Thunderbird a euphemism for us shareholders (and the crony BOD for that matter), being puppets having our strings pulled by George, while this lifestyle company plays with little buckets of rock chips, rolls out CR after CR, buys speculative land parcels and does nothing with them?

Buggered if I know, but whatever your view is, make sure you bloody vote and be counted!

I'm worried about any company name change unless it's a significant activity such as a merger/JV etc. These guys worry me......and yes, I'll sell out if there's a minor SP recovery beyond the weekly 16% P&D.
