my argument is that it isn't age so much as personality that is the problem. but certainly micro-stroke or Transient Cerebral Ischaemia (TCI) can reduce cognitive abilities. so too can accumulative brain trauma in 20 yr olds.
I get your point and it's particularly notable in the situation in the US with Biden and Trump. my guess is that both would be excluded from politics due to personality traits at a much younger age via psychometric testing.
imo prevention of ***kwits entering politics saves a lot of farnarkling and political argy bargy.
