exactly....and when I spend time in the country, I am in and out of the house all day, gardening, chatting with neighbours, dog running around, she never had a back yard before, she loves it... doors and windows open...fresh air, and cheap airco.... its freedom....it is quite different to city life....
plus the pensioners cannot afford to run the refrigerated airco's....it is too expensive for them....I know of people who got bills of $500 a month....compared to their old bills of the usual $100 pm... they were grateful for the free insulation....a little thing that makes their life easier.... an elderly lady also received a free safety switch on her electricity box....which I believe is very important.... apparently the electricity company just went around her neighbourhood and fitted them all for free.... I recently paid over $2000 for the same thing
