I am not a Arab, nor a Muslim but I find the situation interesting. There was the Ottaman Empire back in the day but I do not know to much about that and also the Persian empire etc..
Roman Empire was different, so was Khan and the Mongols as well as Napoleon.
Is there something about the Muslim/Arab culture that is disruptive and haphazard others can play on which reduces their togetherness?.
It seems it is always a powder keg, others might be stirring them up but even so they do not seem to be doing themselves any favours.
Palestinians are getting slaughtered I would have thought their neighbours would do more in a multi polar world where South Africa more than most seems to be carrying a lead against the Palestinian slaughter. Am I wrong??? It seems some of the Muslim/Arab nations seem to struggle to rise up in any meaningful way as if they are carrying a weight that holds them back. Is this fair or am I misreading something. Sure US is a threat but they are on the nose more than ever these days globally and even USA is more restrained than the Zionists in Israel despite being further away in terms of the USA stronghold and core sphere of influence in a separate place to the Middle East
