I knew the Physics is quite simple, as every single motor and generator works through electromagnetic induction, but wasn’t sure about the practical application and its efficacy. Looks like it is quite efficient, 92% this article states. Now imagine these at every traffic light in a city as well as parking stations. The other thing that I imagine is required is a modification to the EV to allow the induced EMF/current to be picked up then be stored. You couldn’t just be sitting over a big alternating current and expect the battery to start charging it would require a transformer. I know my Physics but not electrical engineering.

This one says the car just needs a receiving pad. Once you understand how simple it is you know that there is no way this is not going to happen.

These pads can easily be placed under the ground without much lose.

Seems like we (world) were going in the right direction with environmental policies but there has been a stall for some reason. Maybe the wars, not sure. Having the last COP in an oil country was never going to accelerate it, maybe it went backwards. But to get EV’s to the general population, governments need to help promote simpler options and make charging more easily accessible. This stuff will sure help.
