Plus Stellantis has said elsewhere they’re “..keeping full speed on electrification” and intend to increase the profitability and penetration in Europe. By 2030 they will produce only electric models across their entire range/brands.

Worth remembering too that France is one of Stellantis' main investors with a 6.1% stake in the automaker through state-backed investment bank Bpifrance, and has a representative on its board. Securing European-sourced lithium for its batteries is a clear priority of all.
