every time I do a chart, I screen capture it (with comments a lot of the time), and put a copy in my chart library, which has sections for equities currencies and indicies, but the organisation can be tailored to your needs.
The point is that when charting something, I can go back to see what I thought, in sequence, at earlier times. I usuually do this after I run up a fresh chart, just to double check that I have not missed something important.
It is something which might give you a bit of an edge in organising your thoughts. It is also handy for keeping analysis where you use a different tool. I always keep my charts with the 3 letter code as the first part of the title, then the timestamp of when I captured it, and sometimes additional information, then the file extension.
It also sometimes serves as a handy record of when I last charted particular issues
