If nsw passes legislation and the federal government denies in part due it.

We have bias as the decesion is not federal alone, it would be swayed by state legislation.

Santos, woodside, cooper have approvals in federal waters that are uniform nationally.

If advent is denied in the same waters.

All advent needs to do in a court of law is ask what is the difference in law applied between them and us.

If a reason is given can not pipe, so declined, a state law would interfere with a federal decision.

Advent cause of action might be, non relevance under federal law as we will offshore process from federal waters only.

So federal can not latch onto state laws in a determination for a few reasons.

Depending upon the nsw legislation portions might be constitutionally invalid, esp if federal rules gas is needed for national security.

We have a clash. The constitution states, a state law can not interfere with a federal law and visa versa.

Ultimately, the federal law has ultimate jurastiction over the state law under certain conditions.

So state laws from the onset would be invalid or not apply to advent.
