Propaganda is so crude - there are certainly some parallels. You could add another column with Zelensky for those too though.

I don't think Putin "demonizes" all Ukraine's people or targets civilians per se - he says they are basically brothers and that a large minority of Ukrainians are culturally russian and even those that arent russian are more similar to russians culturally than say the Germans.
Civilians are sadly killed on both sides but almost universally they were not the primary target. There are some exceptions though and these are war crimes and those responsible need to be brought to justice.

He certainly is critical of the US for kicking off the coup in 2014 and bringing on a civil war in Ukraine. Those US war hawks out for regime change in Russia have no reverse gear. They don't care who dies to further their hegemonic dreams.

He would be willing to negotiate peace but Zelensky has outlawed negotiation so the war continues till one side is defeated I guess....
