as I have said before there are a range of views among Jews about the war and in respect of Zionism. The current situation with the ferocity of Netanyahus response makes it particularly difficult but there has been for a long time concern among many Jews on the treatment of Palestinians.
but many are deeply conflicted because they are also aware of history - both biblical and real world
so do you want me to outline my relationship with the Jewish world? I don’t think it’s particularly necessary and I think your commentary sounds a bit like the “some of my friends are black/gay/whatever “.
I spoke a few weeks ago with a friend who had just returned from Israel and his comment at that time was that the situation on the ground in Israel was being misreported. I have no idea and can talk to different people and get different opinions
as to whether my views are little different from your own - I have no idea on that either. I certainly have no intention of using the extreme language that appears in your posts because I don’t thing that helps matters at all
it is precisely because humans have a tendency to more rapidly to extremes and to either/or that we miss the shades of grey, the subtleties and the opportunities that could produce solutions
