I feel more recalls coming on .My new garden battery charger with yr new cheap lithium technologies is going in the garage.
New technology is bs if u want quality batteries,u add yr cheap new technology nickel to the stainless steel u will degrade the stainless steel quality so u may need alot of water in the future.I say more and bigger dams.

ps i thought the idea was to produce the batteries in Australia? It sounds like china will import Indonesia,mongolia,chilli minerals etc for battery production (wind farms/solar panels) then export to Australia.

I guess we will still supply some coal for china to use in battery production.

Lithium batteries will always be a danger as whenever technology is pushed to the absolute limit to obtain a desired result, the conditions in the real world will never emulate the labority situation so any deviation re quality of any ingredient or in the rough and tumble of real world conditions failure is inevitable
