CATL have been pumping lepidolite lithium into the market for years now and reports are they closed one of their plants before the chinese new year. Lepidolite is expensive and extremely dirty and low grade. These assholes have used it as a justification to flood the market with sub par lithium in order to devalue and destroy price and the west and our SC 5.5/6 spodumene.
If these assholes wanna do shoty work and undercut the market by selling trash, they get what they deserve.
Get back to buying only high grade lithium from Aus, Canada etc.
