I didn't respond to this comment of his at the time:
"If you consider that is a good yield, a return at or about the current cpi, plus a 12-month risk for your capital, then WBC is for you."
But for anyone else interested, the 2023 CPI was 4.1% and falling, so unless I'm mistaken WBC dividend including franking will be twice the CPI, not "at or about", or in your case three times.
Re the "12-month risk for your capital", as a recent buyer at $24.67 I couldn't care less what the SP is in 12 months, in five years time, maybe more so.
@CbrMaroon did reassure me with the "WBC is for you" though, so I thank him for that.
