JDP I reckon you're pretty on the ball with most things, but one thing I don't get is how you believe there was a near-term sale being planned by JC/DCB etc. Surely if the market had any sniff that a near-term transaction was in the wings, we wouldn't have experienced the collapse in price that we did under DCB's reign... I would in fact have expected a rally instead as people tried to front-run it.

Or do you think there was a concerted push to inflict maximum damage on the share price and then try to flog RAC off for a buck a share? If so, to what end? JC might have been happy with his $8 mill out of this (plus a few million in transaction fees), but I couldn't see enough other shareholders on-board for this to actually get over the line, and JC would surely have known this.

Could you please elaborate on your theory?

PS. I reckon the 12 months would technically be up on the 13th September 2024.
