Nope. Wrong on your ASX requirement. No more more a requirement than a company calling a new debt undertaking - after all simply a method of raising capital - a capital raise.
Such a pointless argument. How about we wait and see and simply hope the strategic share placement is with an investor we feel favourable to both the share price and/or the underlying business? I personally dare not hope for someone like J&J or Zimmer Biomet, but then again I never expected Paul "I'm excited" Anderson to pull Bio Horizons out of the bag - he confounded all with that one to his very commendable credit.
