Pegmatite-sourced spudomene. It's just that for short many refer to it as pegmatite- based Li. Rather than split hairs over this, take a look at the serious commentary on the Li price. Here is Mr Lithium, Joe Lowry setting the record straight on the so called Li price.
He says the market is very immature and the Chinese are playing it to make it look like Li is oversupplied, and buy quality Li on the cheap.
