The floated market cap makes sense to me. Its just cutting out the non-publicly held shares in the weight of the market cap as you have said. So because of institutional placement we will have 20% less market cap under the float/index weighted cap.
The data I dont have is:
• Stock Median Liquidity is the median daily value traded on the ASX for each stock divided by the
average float/index weight-adjusted market capitalization for the previous six months and;
