But I have to mention it because that's the system of govt that we operate under, so what else can I do????????
I'd happily talk about benevolent dictatorships, autocratic rule, presidential elections but Australia operates under a Westminster parliament where the party (or a coalition of parties) who achieve a majority on the floor of the House of Representatives forms govt.
